My background is 15 years as a professional skydiver, competing and coaching at international level. Five years into this career a severe spinal injury put me out of action. Being told that I’d spend the rest of my life in a wheelchair (forget skydiving again!) led to many gifts. The impact with the Earth was a Shamanic awakening. The process of regaining my life and my legs allowed a level of Spiritual awareness that had shut down in my teens to resurface and take a more coherent shape.
After a year and a half and some major surgery I was back in the air, continuing to teach the art of body flight, and going on to complete a total of 7000 skydives. Learning to walk again and dealing with physical pain was part of the process that led to the development of Simultaneous Awareness.
Transcendental Meditation was extremely helpful during my healing process, and I went on to immerse myself in Vipassanna meditation for two years. The next step on my journey was more Earth based, receiving teachings from an Apache Shaman:-Stalking Wolf, through Tom Brown the Tracker over a two year period; learning and practicing ways of living with the Earth, Apache Scout skills such as invisibility; developing the ability to see and sense without using the eyes; becoming one with the energy of the natural world; and Stalking Wolfs’ way of working with Spirit and Energy. This took on it's own momentum in New Zealand.. A ten day solitary vision quest in the wilderness over the turn of the millennium, and being trained by a Maori spiritual teacher during visits to a number of their sacred sites, ( a great blessing for a pakeha ) brought some extraordinary insights and gifts. My entire being was filled with a burning desire to know who I am and what purpose I serve, why I was still alive and walking around. Those questions were answered. Be careful what you ask for. Integrating those answers and becoming willing to act is, for me, an ongoing process and the journey of a lifetime.

Whilst in New Zealand I met the Spiritual leader of the Maori, Rose Pere; trained with an Inuit Shaman by the name of Grey Wolf; and received teachings from a Native American called Talking Bird.
During the wiinter turning to spring of 2001, I spent two weeks in the Mid Sierra mountains of Northern California, living in a primitive shelter. It was cold. Another vision quest.A Tibetan Buddhist meditation retreat unlocked more doors. Taoist energy practices such as Shaolin and Qi Gong are an ongoing part of my life, and a daily practice.
Returning to the U.K. in 2003 two years were spent working within the Spiritualist movement, integrating their way of communicating with and accessing Spirit.
On request, I began to teach. Sharing many of the shamanic and spiritual practices I’d been shown and guided to develop by Spirit, the focus is always on how they enhance our personal development and assist our movement through life.
Integrating the many layered worlds we move within, anchoring our own Spirit within us, and finding ways to give that spirit a fuller expression in the world are both the gifts I've received, and what I do my best to share with others.

I am a pianist; I work as a healer; and in the field of personal and Spiritual development. Leading day courses on Simultaneous Awareness and longer Immersion courses in nature, my particular interest is in how the heightened levels of awareness, energy, and peace experienced can be brought into our everyday lives and environments.
I simply guide experience . It is your experience that is the teacher.
